Then at 9:30 we talk with painters DAVID WACKELL and SVETLANA BURINSKAYA. David is from the United States, Svetlana from Russia. Independently they were very different painters, coming from extremely different backgrounds. After they met, they decided to explore those differences by painting a single canvas together simultaneously, using paint and gesture to convey their conversations. The results are striking.
