The Fifth Annual Women in Wine Share your Strength for Abby's House - During this fundraising event sample food from local restaurants and caterers as well as wine tasting provided by local connoisseurs, with area artisans selling their own crafted items.
Abby's House is a multi-service, non-profit organization in Worcester, Massachusetts that serves homeless and battered women and children. Founded in 1976 by a group of activists led by Annette Rafferty, Abby’s House has helped thousands of women and children make their way out of the chaos of homelessness.

In the 1980s, Holland was part of several jazz combos and taught at NEC. Holland currently leads a quintet, and won a Grammy Award for the Dave Holland Big Band's album Overtime (2005). Holland also performs on Herbie Hancock's Grammy winner River: The Joni Letters (2007).
This evening, NEC students will perform works by Dave Holland after a week of coachings.
