Pipes Alive! Concert Series - Brenda Portman

Brenda Portman is the Organist at First Presbyterian Church of Flint, Michigan; she is also the sub-dean of the American Guild of Organists, Flint chapter. Ms. Portman was recently awarded First Place in the 2007 Arthur Poister Organ Competition in Syracuse, New York, as well as First Place in the Ninth Annual (2006) Albert Schweitzer Organ Competition, Young Professional Division, in Wethersfield, Connecticut. She was also a quarter-finalist in both the 2006 and 2008 National Young Artists Competitions in Organ Performance.
