Featuring John Clark reeds, Eric Baldwin on guitar, a bassist to be named later, Steve Taddeo on drums and vibraphonist Rich Greenblatt in his first Sherborn Inn appearance.
This music is great for both listening and dancing! Eric Baldwin pays homage to the classic Benny Goodman groups of the early 1940's, featuring guitarist Charlie Christian. He and John Clark (leader of the Wolverine Jazz Band) will be playing tunes from that era.

Jackie's CD, "This Heart Of Mine" (featuring Toots Thielemans and two-time Grammy Award winner, Ernie Watts), won unanimous praise from top jazz magazines, JAZZ TIMES, JAZZ IMPROV, JAZZIZ, received a '4 STAR' rating ("excellent") from DOWNBEAT, and reached #5 nationwide on JAZZ WEEK's jazz chart.
Her newest CD, "Doozy", was the #1 Jazz CD nationwide for seven weeks on Jazzweek. It garnered 4 stars from Downbeat and AllMusiGuide and received unanimous rave reviews from the jazz critics. Doozy is a double CD recorded at Tony Bennett's studio right after her Lincoln Center performance (hailed by VARIETY as "savvy interpretive jazz vocalizing -- adventurous, deftly assured"). It features Jackie performing with Cyrus Chestnut (named "the best jazz pianist of his generation" by TIME Magazine) and is backed by some of New York's hottest names in jazz: Eric Alexander on sax, Jeremy Pelt on trumpet, Carl Allen on drums, Ray Drummond on bass, and on guitar -- Brazilian virtuoso Romero Lubambo.

Submitted by edshepherd on Thu, 02/25/2010 - 11:28am.
With Twang 'Em High featuring Drew Townson.
LA-based singer/songwriter/guitarist, Laurie Geltman, returns to her local roots. Before spreading her music nationally, the Berklee College of Music grad first established herself in the vibrant Boston music scene where she was placed in high esteem in both rock and acoustic circles. Known for her electrifying performances with her namesake band, Laurie's ability to cross over from out-and-out rocker to acoustic songsmith has been a constant thread in her career. Respected for being "a top-flight guitarist," it is Geltman's songwriting that showcases her diversity the most, and parallels her exploration of most musical genres while adding to that a strong allegiance to rock and roll and a healthy disrespect for musical boundaries.
"Geltman's comfortable playing full-tilt rock as well as introspective acoustic ballads. She's the whole package". - Billboard
