Third Shift, with eclectic influences ranging from Sting to Gershwin, will be unloading a truckload of jazz standards, funk and jazz versions of rock and pop hits. The South Coast-based band combines the best of many genres, gives them a sophisticated twist and blends them into a repertoire that runs from "Take Five" to "Walking On The Moon."
Then, Sax man Dave Buckley adds his own original compositions to the mix, making Third Shift virtual one-stop-shopping for jazz lovers who like both reliable standards and adventurous new music.
Admission is $6.
A combination dinner-and-entertainment package is available for $25
with delectable Szechuan and Cantonese food provided by The Dragon
Lady Restaurant of Taunton.
