JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, the first masterpiece from the legendary writing team of Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber, exploded onto the scene in 1971 changing the world of musical theatre forever. With a score of amazing songs - “I Don’t Know How to Love Him”, “Hosanna”, “Everything’s Alright”, “What’s the Buzz”, “Superstar”, and “Heaven on Their Mind”, this original groundbreaking production starring Ted Neeley in the title role and Living Colour’s Corey Glover as Judas is as relevant and timeless as ever.

Host: Leslie Holmes. Although Mary Catherine Ward did some acting in her twenties, it was not until recently that she started infiltrating the cabaret scene. While her job as a clinical social worker and mother of two is very fulfilling she found she needed to express herself and singing was the medium of choice.

Mary Catherine performed her first solo hour long cabaret show this spring at the “March is Cabaret Month Festival” sponsored by BACA. In the meantime, she is a frequent presence on the assisted living home, public library and open mike circuit. She will be recording her first full length CD this summer.

Welcome to one of the brightest new stars of jazz: Taylor Eigsti. The 23-year-old pianist, composer, and bandleader returns to Scullers to celebrate the release of his sophmoric effort on Concord Records "Let It Come to You." The prodigious young pianist and composer has already released five albums and shared the stage with such well-known and respected artists as Dave Brubeck, James Moody, Ernestine Anderson, Rufus Reid, Alan Broadbent and Red Holloway.

Steve Howard is a singer songwriter who, although based in New England, has performed his music all over the country. He has worked and shared the stage with many noted performers from Tom Rush and Jamie Brockett to Jerry Garcia, Peter Rowan, Dave Bromburg, Juice Newton and Lacy J. Daltron. His songs are stories, sometimes serious, at times humorous but each with Steve's unique style and craftsmanship.

Latin Fire! led by Michelle Pugliese (flute, altos sax, vocals) is a 13-piece Boston-based salsa band and includes 3 saxes, 2 trumpets, 1 trombone, 2 vocalists, piano, bass, drums, congas, and timbales. Performing salsa, merengue, and bachata, their repertoire includes pieces by Juan Luis Guerra, Luis Alberti, Ray Barretto, Oscar D'Leon, Los Hermanos Rosario, El Gran Combo, Celia Cruz, Cheo Feliciano, Tito Rodriguez, Ismael Miranda, La Makina, Marc Anthony, Gilberto Santa Rosa, Elvis Crespo, and Orlando "Maraca" Valle.
