A3D (African Development through Drum and Dance) will be hosting a Multicultural Festival on the Salem Common, sporting crafts, music, food, and fun. There will be a series of bands (TBD), performing artists, and entertainers there showcasing the diverse cultures found in and around the Salem area. Check the Websites for details

All proceeds will benefit the Shirley Local Partner Committee of Habitat for Humanity, North Central Mass. to build a Habitat Home in Shirley.

This event is blanket seating. Food and beverage may not be brought into the festival.

“Mainstream” jazz repertoire - standards, Latin, swing, blues and jazz tunes

“A PERFECT SPOT OF TEA,” a revival of the Colonial custom of afternoon tea. Visitors are invited to linger on the Museum’s breezy back veranda while enjoying a leisurely cup of tea, delectable pastries, and talented local musicians.

Swing Dance lessons from 7:30 to 8:30PM (Beginners at 7:30, Advanced at 8:00) Dance begins at 8:30 and ends at Midnight

Following her successful sold out in advance Christmas show, Mann is returning home in support of Smilers, her 7th studio recording, due for release on June 3rd. Smilers contains 13 brand new, exisquitely crafted songs about the inner life of people living far from the bright lights of success and fame, including her newest single, “Freeway”.

One of the most popular events in New England, presenting our best line up ever including performers that will keep the audience talking for years to come. Headliners include Pure Prairie League, with the huge hit "Amie", as well as The Waybacks, the beautiful voice and songwriting of Gretchen Peters, and back by popular demand is Anais Mitchell. Other favorites include Cheryl Wheeler, Catie Curtis, Sons of The Never Wrong, Jonathan Edwards, and Emilia Dahlin,  who we feel is our own rising star. Local favorite Ash Fischbein will be with us as well as nationally acclaimed artist David Olney with Sergio Webb...and we're not done yet! More acts to come...  On February 7th Gretchen Peters was voted the 2007 Folk Artist of the Year by Folkwax readers.
