An acoustic quartet with Old World flavor

“A PERFECT SPOT OF TEA,” a revival of the Colonial custom of afternoon tea. Visitors are invited to linger on the Museum’s breezy back veranda while enjoying a leisurely cup of tea, delectable pastries, and talented local musicians.

Admission for tea, pastries, and music is $10 per person, and seatings are at 2:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Tours of the Porter-Phelps-Huntington Museum are available on the half-hour for an additional fee of $5.00 for adults, and $1.00 for children under 16.

Great Waters Festival - Rita Coolidge

The sensational Rita Coolidge will grace the stage on Saturday, August 16th. Ms. Coolidge has several gold and platinum albums and received a Grammy Award for the Best Country Music Performance by a Duo. She became known as the Delta Lady after her early career as a backing vocalist with Joe Cocker and Eric Clapton.

Great Waters is a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing great performances to the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee. The Great Waters Pavilion is located on the beautiful campus of Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro, NH. Local Scottish fiddle phenom Hanneke Cassel hosts a Night of Scottish Music with Cape Breton violinist and composer Car MacKenzie and Gregor Borland, who has had much success in competitions, winning the Daily record Junior Golden Fiddle Award in 1978 and then going on to win as many as eight Scottish Championships throughout Scotland over the next five years, including the "Henry Williams Trophy" at the Scottish Championship Contest, held in Inverness.
