The 2008-09 Sovereign Bank Music Series continues with Daniel Lanois, the 10-time Grammy-winning and five-time Juno Award-winning producer and recording artist who has worked with U2, Bob Dylan, Brian Eno, Peter Gabriel, Emmylou Harris, and others.
The concert – which kicks-off Lanois' three-day residency Berklee (and also features master drummer Brian Blade) – will take place Sunday, November 16, at 7:30 p.m.
An artist-in-residence in Berklee's Music Technology Division, November 16-18, Lanois will record a student band that includes Blade sitting in on drums. He and Blade will also give a clinic on playing guitar and drums within ensemble and recording contexts.

Live Out Loud! features contemporary Broadway and Cabaret music written by Stephen Sondheim, Kander and Ebb, Elton John, Andrew Lippa, William Finn, and more – all of whom are out and proud members of the GLBT community. Backed by Tom LaMark on piano, the show was directed by IRNE Award winner Ida Zecco.
These performances will include a special appearance by the self-proclaimed first lady of Providence, Miss Kitty Litter.
A portion of the proceeds will go to benefit AIDS Care Ocean State www.aidscareos.org.
