This should be a very exciting event as it will be a one-time only preview of the score Billy created for The Washington Ballet's original adaptation of "Great Gatsby." The band's performances with the ballet will be February 22nd through February 28th at the Kennedy Center (Eisenhower theater) in Washington, DC. Tickets to those performances can be purchased through the ballet's web site. The band members are: Billy Novick, reeds; John Clark, reeds; Mike Peipman, trumpet; Dan Fox, trombone; Ross Petot, piano; Stu Gunn, tuba; Bill Reynolds, drums

The trio is led by guitarist and Boston resident David Ehle with a bassist and drummer plus special guest musicians.

This is an open jazz jam session where all are invited to bring your instrument and your voice or just come enjoy the fun.

Allan Holdsworth is widely regarded by fans and contemporary musicians as one of the 20th century's most prominent guitarists. He is one of a handful of musicians who has consistently proven himself as an innovator in between and within the worlds of rock and jazz music.

The streets are paved with guitar players in this age-old town. You can see them as you walk around -- their tuning pegs and whammy bars sticking up through the pavement, their hands frozen in the shape of a Jimmy Page lick.
