NEC Preparatory School Announces Prep Presents, a Free Concert Series Gift to City of Boston

Event Date:
Tuesday, November 27, 2012 - 8:00pm

New England Conservatory is delighted to announce a free 11-concert series by its Preparatory School that will span the 2012-13 season from Nov. 12—May 25. Dedicated to Mayor Thomas M. Menino, Prep Presents: A Gift to the City of Boston is being offered in gratitude to the community for its support of the Conservatory’s Campus Redevelopment Plan.

The free series showcases the many kinds of music-making that flourish at the school and underscores the variety of offerings that are open to all youngsters in the City of Boston and beyond. Although NEC normally charges admission to these concerts (which goes to support touring by the various ensembles), it decided to make them free this year as a thank you gift.
