Cheyenne Jackson

Date:
Wednesday, November 14, 2012 - 6:00pm

The popular Glee and 30 Rock star (pun not intended) Cheyenne Jackson has a special place for music, especially Broadway. He has been the understudy of both male leads in Thoroughly Modern Millie and his cabaret debut Back to the Start, continuing to spend much of his time on the stage while maintaining roles in two popular TV series. Cheyenne mentioned that his love for music rolls back to when searched for old vinyl at yard sales back in Idaho and fell in love with Broadway when he first saw Les Miserables with his French teacher.

On this week's Song Travels, Michael Feinstein is joined by the popular vocalist as they discuss Cheyenne's long journey from Idaho to Broadway, as well as perform tunes by Tom Waits, Elton John, and Katy Perry.
