This amazing ensemble consists of vocalist Steve Faria, pianist John Matrona, percussionist Alan Stones, and bassist Jay Matrona. Steve Faria, a tenured performer of more than 35 years, has written and directed comedies, musicals and dramas, including the 2009 Festival in Newburyport short winner. Percusionist Alan Stones has performed in genes ranging from classical to rock and roll. John Matrona, Berkeley College of Music graduate, performs regularly at Boston’s Hyatt Harborside Hotel, Newburyport’s Joseph’s Winter St. Café, and New England Continental Orchestras. He has also worked with the Arthur Bakopolus Jazz Quintet and flutist Mike Finegold. Jay Matrona, sitar performer, has studied in NY, Arizona, and India. It is a real treat to spend the evening with!
