Edgar Meyer, bass & Mike Marshall, mandolin

Event Date:
Sunday, September 22, 2013 - 5:00pm

Legendary double bassist and composer Edgar Meyer and virtuoso mandolin player Mike Marshall are among the top instrumentalists of their kind. They’ve played with greats like Yo-Yo Ma, Chris Thile, and Béla Fleck and have been collaborating together for over 20 years.

Over these past two decades, they have developed a fully realized concept of the mandolin/bass duo.

Edgar and Mike present a repertoire that spans the globe--from Bach duets to Brazilian choros to funky original pieces and their own twisted fiddle tunes. Watch Video
