Date:
Wednesday, October 9, 2013 - 7:00pm

Deborah Holland, a Los Angeles based piano teacher and songwriter, was a member of Animal Logic with jazz bassist Stanley Clarke and drummer Stewart Copeland (formerly with The Police). She began her musical studies at age 14, attended the Berklee College of Music and Rutgers University, from which she received her B.A. with Highest Honors in Jazz Studies.

Cidny Bullens (formerly Cindy Bullens) grew up in Massachusetts, and release 2 albums in the late 1970’s on United Artists Records. Her 1978 debut album, Desire Wire, has been described as “one of the great lost rock albums of the 70’s”, and anticipated later work by a host of 1980’s female rock artists, from Pat Benatar, to Blondie, to The Go-Gos. She provided vocals on three songs for the soundtrack of the 1977 feature fiml “Grease”, for which she earned a Grammy nomination for best rock vocal performance. Cindy got her start in the music business by performing as a backup vocalist with Elton John on three major tours. In 1999, Cindy’s album “Somewhere Between Heaven and Earth” featured guests Bonnie Raitt, Lucinda Williams, Rodney Crowell and Bryan Adams.

Cidny and Deborah also comprise two-thirds of the group The Refugees, also featuring Wendy Waldman.
