Boasting “impeccable sound and technique,” according to the New York Times, Bulgarian violinist Bella Hristova has performed at Lincoln Center and the Kennedy Center. The Washington Post raved about her equal mastery of “impressive power and control,” while The Strad admired her “commanding stage presence.” Performing extensively as a soloist, Ms. Hristova’s repertoire includes Mendelssohn, Prokofiev, Beethoven, and Dvorak. Hailed by The New York Concert Review as "a magnificent artist and poet" with "a Midas touch for tone and music," seasoned pianist Amy Yang is the founder of The Schumann Project, a special series of concerts to present Schumann’s complete major solo piano, chamber, and vocal works. A graduate of the Curtis Institute of Music, the Juilliard School, and the Yale School of Music, Ms. Yang has performed at Weill Hall at Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, the Gardner Museum, and the White House.

The program includes Beethoven's Sonata No. 5 in F Major, Op. 24, Lutoslawski's Subito, "Praise to the Immortality of Jesus" by Messiaen, and closes with Beethoven's Sonata No. 9 in A Major, Op. 47.
