On September 9th, the Women's Issues Book Discussion Group will discuss "Monique and the Mango Rains: Two years with a midwife in Mali", a memoir by former Peace Corps volunteer Kris Holloway. The residents of village of Nampossela come to life in this account of women s' lives in a West African village filled with their joy, pain, frustrations, and humor.
