Wurlitzer Theatre Organ donor and curator, Don Phipps, celebrates his 80th birthday this fall, and you're invited to the party! As a present to himself, Don is underwriting the cost of bringing ATOS Theatre Organist of the Year 2012, Mark Herman, to Worcester to play a wide range of repertoire on the Wurlitzer. He'll accompany award-winning cabaret singer, Jan Peters, as well as the 20-minute silent film short, Laurel & Hardy's "Big Business." Proceeds will benefit the Wurlitzer Fund for the preservation and maintenance of the Mighty Wurlitzer Theatre Organ.
