Five Years & Counting Founder's Forum
Event Date:
Thursday, March 14, 2013 - 5:30pm
March 14, 2013 marks The Hanover Theatre’s fifth anniversary. To commemorate this important milestone, theatre founders Ed Madaus and Paul Demoga, as well as other early stakeholders, will share their stories of the early days, when The Hanover Theatre was just a vision.
If you’ve ever wondered how this wonderful cultural and architectural landmark came to be, then you’ll want to join us for our fifth anniversary founder’s forum and tours of the theatre. Learn about the years, months, and days leading up to The Hanover Theatre’s Grand Opening.
Find out from the people who made it happen how it all came together. Learn who the key players were behind this $32 million historic restoration and what was it about this project that drew the attention and commitment of the more than 200 principal contributors and community leaders who played a key role in making it a reality. Enjoy a moderated conversation based on personal stories and recollections, then join us for a birthday celebration, cake and an opportunity to toast the next five years of world-class cultural entertainment and live performances in downtown Worcester.
This Access Hanover Lyceum Series event is FREE for the general public. Please RSVP to The Hanover Theatre box office at 877.571.SHOW (7469).
