Hit songwriter / artists Jonathan Edwards and Michael Martin Murphey have announced a series of acoustic shows, sharing the stage and trading stories and songs, beginning in September. Both artists first hit the Pop charts with songs like "Wildfire" and "Sunshine" in the 70s and have since built strong followings across the country.
Singer-songwriter Michael Martin Murphey continues to push musical boundaries. Murphey left an indelible mark on American music with massive pop and progressive country hits. A recepient of six gold albums, Murphey's most recent Grammy nomination was for his 2009 "Buckaroo Blue Grass" album, which is sitting comfortably on top of the charts.
Jonathan Edwards burst on the scene nearly 40 years ago with the mega-hit "Sunshine Go Away Today" and the harmonica-happy "Shanty". He has one of the most beautiful and memorable voices in the business and is still a vibrant, energetic performer. Jonathan has recorded 15 albums. This is one veteran performer who is neither grizzled nor nostalgic.
