"Meditation in movement is a hundred, a thousand, a million times superior to meditation at rest." - Zen This class uses the vehicles of Tai Chi Easy and Qi Gong, ancient healing arts & practices, to enhance mindfulness for each of you. I teach movements, breathing exercises, meditations, and posture strengthening as tools to live more mindfully. Mindful living promotes contentment, calm, steadiness, and strength on the physical, emotional, and intellectual levels of your being. Bottom line: the intention of this class is to promote well-being and ease. Movements are simple and easy to learn, much of the class can be done sitting or standing. Bring an open mind and curiosity with you and wear loose clothing and supportive shoes (unless you want to go barefoot).
Qi-Gong leader Carol Mielo Swerzenski is a professor of psychology, a consultant in Complementary Care, and a daily practitioner of Qi-Gong for 20 years.
