Poco Acoustic Trio
Poco was formed when Buffalo Springfield were making their "Last Time Around" album in 1968, Rusty Young was called in to play steel guitar on Richie Furay's song, "Kind Woman." And it was then that Rusty, Richie and Jim Messina talked about forming a band. The addition of Randy Meisner and George Grantham completed the line-up and launched the band that would inspire a generation of musicians.
In 2010 a new Poco era dawned with longtime Poco bassist Jack Sundrud, newest addition, Keyboard wizard Michael Webb, and of course Rusty Young. Building on the musical tradition that has been their hallmark for over 4 decades, Poco continues to be a musically superior band with a foot in the past, present and future.
"Poco has a history unmatched by any band and we feel a responsibility to keep audiences captivated with each and every concert. I'm excited about Poco's future. It's been a long ride and it just keeps getting better!" - Rusty Young.
