Sam Reid & the Riot Act is an acoustic-guitar driven rock band with a true bluegrass soul. Traditional elements including fiery virtuouso fiddle, mandolin, flatpicked guitar and three-part vocal harmonies are anchored, modernized and indeed electrified by the addition of electric bass and drums.

With his full-on electric band, Taylor Moore has opened concerts for heavy-hitters like Delbert McClinton,Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, JJ Grey and Mofro and Corey Smith, while in his stripped down acoustic capacity, he's toured with platinum-selling singer-songwriter Edwin McCain. With original songwriting and Ray LaMontagne-meets-Rod Stewart vocal stylings.

A multi-instrumentalist Sam Chase plays guitar, drums, piano and sings on his most recent album, 'Every Time I'm Home'. His latest songs aren't aligned with any one genre, but they do have a common theme of the ocean, family and love flowing through them, things Sam tends to write about.
