The Boston Globe describes Metcalf as "excellent cabaret/jazz singer who is foremost a sensitive interpreter of lyrics." She and pianist Ron Roy, who "display(ed) his considerable jazz chops to great effect" (EDGE), have performed together for six years, at venues including Scullers Jazz Club, Metropolitan Room (Manhattan), and Davenport's (Chicago).
