EVENT: String Day at UMass Amherst
A FUN-FILLED Day for string players: pre-college students & their parents, private or classroom string teachers & orchestra directors

ACTIVITIES: Music making with UMass Amherst Department of Music & Dance faculty and string students, including Chamber Music reading, Informal Orchestra Rehearsals, Mini-Lectures & Concert

FACULTY: UMass Amherst Professors Elizabeth Chang (violin), Kathryn Lockwood (viola & coordinator), Astrid Schween (cello), Salvatore Macchia (bass) & Opus One Chamber Orchestra

TIME & LOCATION: 9am- 3:15pm, Fine Arts Center, Music Wing

REGISTRATION: Due date: 2/21
In advance: $25 for students, includes lunch; parents & teachers free, lunch $10
Late applicants as space permits: $35, lunch $10
