Event Date:

The Best of two Musical Worlds! Trysette, the Sensual Singer Songwriter and Fiona Joy Hawkins the Evocative Mistress of Romantic Piano are like "chianti and cognac".

After three months touring the East to the West Coast of America in 2012, playing theaters, intimate clubs, private homes and appearing live on morning TV in New York, Colorado and Arizona, Trysette and Fiona are returning to the States to delight their audiences once again. The two solo artists come from rural NSW Australia, are both classically trained with a penchant for the grand piano. Together they combine two musical worlds taking their audience on a journey from Pop to Folk, to New age and then to Classical but in their own unique and enchanting way.

Trysette, while enjoying CMJ charting airplay in the States with her album Le Cafe Ancien, is now set to release her fourth independent album in 2013 which she has been recording in L.A. over the past 12 months with her mentor Bob Malone (singer, songwriter and keyboardist for John Fogerty).

An Aussie ARIA Finalist, Fiona Joy has worked with Grammy winners Will Ackerman (founder of Windham Hill Records) and Corin Nelsen, and has several albums signed to ABC Music. Fiona is currently a 2013 Finalist in the Independent Music Awards for Best LIVE Performance across all categories as well as Best New Age Album.

Audiences all over the world have embraced their charming and funny videos about touring together which can be found on their Two Grand I'm Yours youtube channel. Boston's Jordan Rich from WBZ Radio commented "When they have finished with the piano Trysette and Fiona could take up as comedians. They are a brilliant pair of artists making us laugh one minute, cry the next and then dance in our seats with music that touches our every sense." Artist Website

While attending the New England Conservatory of Music Peter Jansen became interested in early music for stringed instruments, jazz, Indian classical, and contemporary classical composition. He gained experience composing for and performing in a variety of ensembles in a myriad of styles while attaining his Master of Guitar Performance degree and this is when his passion for folk, world, and traditional music, especially Celtic, was formed. Since that time his performances have mostly been as a soloist playing fingerstyle guitar.
