Zoe Muth and The Lost High Rollers
It may surprise Zoe Muth’s fans that the singer-songwriter of the critically acclaimed albums Starlight Hotel and Never Be Fooled Again hails from a Seattle suburb. Treading both soul and country, Muth’s “cosmic Americana” sound has been compared to such vintage country legends as Iris Dement and Patty Griffin. In 2010, she was named Modern Acoustic magazine’s “New Artist of the Year,” and has since exploded on the American music scene with honky-tonk and soulful 50s-style tunes that are as stirring for their instrumental richness as for the heart-wrenching stories they deliver.
