How do I know if my employer participates in the employee matching gift program?

WICN has compiled a list of companies that have participated in the matching gift program in the past. You may view the current list by clicking here. If you do not see your company's name listed, please consult your Human Resources Department.

My employer participates in the employee matching gift program, what should I do?

The Human Resources Department of your company will be able to provide you with the necessary forms and any instructions that you'll need. Generally, the Matching Gift Forms require information from the donor (you) and the donation recipient (WICN). First, fill out any necessary personal information, then mail the form to:

WICN Public Radio
Attn: Membership
50 Portland Street
Worcester, MA 01608

We will fill in the rest of the necessary information and mail it back to your company for processing. Your company will then approve the matching gift and mail a check to WICN.

Why did I receive a pledge reminder letter even though I already sent in my contribution?

WICN tries to be as prompt as possible when processing gifts. There is always a possibility that your payment and our letters can overlap in the mail, especially during our membership drives. If you receive a reminder letter after having just sent in your pledge payment, please disregard the letter.

When will my "Thank-You Gift" arrive?

If you requested a "Thank-You Gift" when you made your pledge, it should arrive 3-4 weeks after we receive full payment of your pledge. If more than 4 weeks have elapsed since you sent full payment of your pledge, please feel free to contact the Membership Department either by phone, (508) 752-0700, or by e-mail, membership@wicn.org.

How do I increase, decrease or discontinue my Circle of Friends installment payments?

As a Circle of Friends member of WICN, you understand that your membership gift of installment payments will be ongoing until you notify WICN otherwise.  If you would like to increase, decrease or discontinue your installment payments, please call WICN at 508-752-0700, email membership@wicn.org, or write to:
