Offiong Bassey...Shining Like the Moon

Singer/songwriter and poet, Offiong Bassey stops by the studio to talk with Host Bonnie Johnson about her debut album Offiong Bassey and upcoming birthday concert. Nominated as New Artist of the Year for the 2013 SoulTracks Readers' Choice Awards, Ms. Bassey's music reflects "Afro-Peruvian rhythms and funk to R&B and Nigerian Ekombi". She will perform on Tuesday, November 12th 2013 (8pm) at Scullers Jazz Club in Boston.  Tune in at 4pm.
