November 28: BEANTOWN SWING ORCHESTRA with John Stevens

The 18-piece Beantown Swing Orchestra, featuring American Idol finalist John Stevens, represents the future of big band swing music. Specializing in vintage Swing Era and Sinatra classics, Beantown also performs original and popular songs custom arranged for big band. Beantown is on a mission to bring big band music back!

December 12: THE MAKANDA PROJECT

An ensemble based in Makanda Ken McIntyre’s hometown of Boston, is dedicated to continuing Makanda’s legacy through the performance of his music - specifically, by playing compositions which Makanda never had the opportunity to record or perform in public. An enormous body of such work exists, reflecting the full range of Makanda’s imagination as a composer.
