The Ape Woman: A Rock Opera by May V. Oskan

A rock opera by May V. Oskan, chronicling the incredible story of Julia Pastrana, the Victorian Ape Woman. WORLD PREMIERE: AUG 29 and 30, THE PIT STOP, Oak Bluffs.

The show runs about 80 minutes, and is performed without an intermission.

Catie Curtis Holiday Show

The “Catie Curtis Christmas” Tour begins in Cleveland on November 20, and includes dates in NJ, PA, NY, MA, VT and VA.  

Kate Kooser with bring the harmonies in Cleveland, and Ingrid Graudins, who sings on the recording, will accompany me at all of the other CCC tour shows.  

Elana Arian will be featured on fiddle and vox along with Ingrid at the Northampton, MA and Vienna VA shows.  

Some of the songs on this tour are Christmasy, but if Christmas is not your thing, I will also be playing some brand new tunes, and requests from past CDs.

Jason Myles Goss, Bethel Steele opens

A native of Hopedale, MA, songwriter Jason Myles Goss has been recording since 2003, when he released his first album Long Way Down and, aged 21, was selected as a finalist in the first ever Newport Folk Festival Songwriters' Contest: the youngest by over ten years.

ROCK OFF MAIN STREET

TCAN's successful Rock Off Main teen music program is an all-ages show that provides a venue for bands in this region to take their eclectic mix of music out of their basements and put it on stage where it belongs, performing for their peers.
