Bluegrass Gospel Project'

Unparalleled vocal harmonies. Eclectic, stirring repertoire. And roots planted in the bluegrass tradition that yield complex, inspiring music from this group of incredible musicians. This is the Bluegrass Gospel Project, a group that’s been doing something for over ten years: exploring and expanding the tradition of bluegrass gospel, from U2 to the Stanley Brothers, Sam Cooke to Steve Earle. The six members of the BGP bring decades of experience to the group.

The Frank Wilkins Quartet

The Frank Wilkins Quartet returns to Woods Hole Community Hall, May 13th, 7:30 PM. Tickets are $20.

The quartet features Wilkins on piano, Bobby Tynes on sax, Sergio Ballotti on drums and bassist Dave Zox. A Woods Hole favorite, Wilkins grew up playing in churchs and he brings a gospel and blues feel to his music. He has performed with jazz luminaries including Tyron Davis, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Kevin Eubanks, and Lavern Baker.
