Columbus / Endangered Speeches

The Red Room

Columbus is an authentic ‘70s-style funk/soul band that is leaving it on the 939 stage with its farewell tour. The blend of tight horn section, unyieldingly solid rhythm section, and expressive vocals makes Columbus one of Berklee’s most noteworthy bands. The goal of the band is to celebrate the ‘70s music legacy, paying homage to funk pioneers like James Brown, George Clinton, and Sly and the Family Stone.

Since the founding of this country the issue of war time conduct has been part of a heated and polarizing debate. Tune in this Sunday evening at 10:30 PM when Al is joined by respected author and historian, John Fabian Witt. His new book, " Lincolns Code" charts the history of war time conduct in America.
