MINNS QUINTET: BALTIC SOUND INSPIRED JAZZ

"Minns Quintet" plays jazz inspired by Baltic music, with the fusion of creative avant-garde, poetry, and rock styles.  Simona Minns will be singing and playing a traditional Lithuanian instrument called kanklės, which is usually used to perform Lithuanian Folk music. Her husband and co-band leader Dorsey J Minns, along with fellow rhythm section members, will join her. This original music is full of energy, raw emotion, jazz improvisation, and Baltic mystery.
