Featured singers include Lucille Butler, Nancy Megrian, Deborah Moscoso (sopranos); Aleksandra Szelag (mezzo-soprano); Yakov Zamir (haute-contre); and Emilio Moscoso, Matthew Oliva (tenors).

Celebrate Public Radio Music Month with diversity in world music and the arts as host Bonnie Johnson welcomes Curator Jean Borgatti of the Fitchburg Art Museum to discuss the opening of their new "Wrapped in Pride: Ghanaian Kente and African American Identity" exhibit. This upcoming showcase of world-class African art opens on Sunday, April 15th  with an African festival that features food, fun and the expressions of music and dance. Be sure to tune for a visit with special guests and a global fusion of African beats, soul and jazz!

Jazz Day Celebration

We celebrate Jazz Appreciation Month and the City of Worcester on Friday, April 13th in the performance studio as Mayor Joe Petty declares "Jazz Day." The mayor will make the official proclamation while you enjoy the sounds of the WICN-Worcester Jazz All-Stars. Dick Odgren, Bob Simonelli, Rich Ardizone, Pete LeVeque & Mark Holovnia will perform on this special day.  Tune in at 2 pm on Friday and help us celebrate Jazz Appreciation Month!!!

UMass Presents The Emerging Choreographers Series .

Twelve talented emerging choreographers explore the complexity of human relationships through the powerful language of dance. The show consists of various dance works choreographed and performed by University of Massachusetts dancers. 

ECS features the choreography of Rachel Aylward, Sonja Brigham, Kristen Connolly, Melissa Frascella, Amanda Fredette, Jeff Gugliotti, Jaxon Hall, Megan Kelly, Brittni Laquidara, Katie Lovell, Ellen Saltzman and Rebecca Steinberg.

Duke Ellington comes to Peterborough!

Duke Ellington’s music comes LIVE to the Peterborough Town House as the Monadnock Chorus presents selections from the Sacred Concerts, what Duke called his “most important works.” This is the first time that Ellington’s Sacred Concerts will be performed in the Monadnock Region! Collaborating in this one-of-a-kind event are over 100 singers from the Monadnock Chorus and Keene State College, 17 professional musicians from the Amherst Jazz Orchestra led by Dave Sporny, and tap dancers from the Monadnock Performing Arts Academy.
