The Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra try their hand at another book of classics - these standards include "Chicken Rhythm," "Three Blind Mice" and "Liza Jane." Wynton and the orchestra give a big band twist to children classics. Guest soloist 16 year old Grace Kelly (alto saxophone), 17 year old Carl Majeau (tenor saxophone and clarinet) and 13 year old Jonathan Russell (violin) join Wynton on stage. The perfect way to end the school year and start the summer.

Through a kaleidoscope of characters Mallon points out the highs and lows of the scandal as well as the comedic tragedy that was the Nixon administration. Boston’s own Debo Band plays a hard-driving strain of ’70s Ethiopian pop music with elements of rock, funk and jazz. The 11-piece band created a huge buzz at globalFEST and SXSW this year for its “incredible energy and passion and excellence.”-All Songs Considered, NPR. Next Ambiance/Sub Pop will release its hugely anticipated self-titled debut album on July 10.
