Sample delicious tastes from participating immigrant-run Somerville restaurants, and meet friends new and old at a fun and satisfying benefit for The Welcome Project. Enjoy food from Ethiopia, Mexico, the Mediterranean, Thailand, Nepal and more. Admission includes culinary tastes from YUM restaurants and live entertainment from around the world.

Stories of Love and Pain for the Earth


Stories of love and pain for the Earth is performed by True Story Theater, a 10-year-old local improvisational theater company. A five-person ensemble will honor each story told by audience volunteers through the power of improvisatory drama, music, and movement. The stories shared will magically be brought to life through exploration of this important common theme celebrating our precious planet.

Now in its 36th year, Richard Cambridge's Poetry Theatre features the original work of artists and poets. Richard Cambridge’s poetry and theater productions address controversial themes on the American political landscape. His poetry has appeared in The Paterson Literary Review, Nantucket Journal, Asheville Poetry Review and others.
