The Boston area has been a haven for blues enthusiasts for as long as anyone can remember. And, for over a quarter-century, the longest running area Blues Jam takes place right here at Johnny D’s. Young and old, veteran or just starting out, there is a spot for all on our Sunday afternoon jams. And because the Blues is a wide spread idiom, we make a point of welcoming both electric and acoustic, Delta, Chicago, Piedmont, rural or citified, all are invited. There is always a host to help coordinate the activities and take a few laps.
