Hand-Crafted Clay Cherry Bowl & Saucer in Lagoon Blue

These Hand-Crafted Clay Cherry Bowl and Saucer were created by Rock Garden Pottery, Roger M. Galuska, of Rochester, NH.

They are a high-fired stoneware, so both the bowl and saucer are microwave and dishwasher-safe.

Roger mixes and develops all his own glazes.

The bowl is 8 inches in diameter, with a design adapted from the potter's Polish-American heritage. The etches are designed in free-hand and adapted from Polish wood carvings done in a town called Zakopane (Zah-ko- pah-nyeh) in the Tatra Mountains of Southern Poland.

Zakopane happens to be near the town where Roger's own family comes from and is the connection to him and his pottery.
