The Bull Run has been a Tavern for centuries and their philosophy is simple: use only the freshest ingredients from area small farms and providers; treat the staff and the talent like gold; support the local events and institutions that truly create community; and bring world-class entertainment to Central Massachusetts.
Join host Tom Banyai for this week's edition of Bluegrass Junction. Tom will be joined by special guests, members of the Blackstone Valley Bluegrass Band. The band has a fine new release out titled Soulshine. They will play some of the songs live and talk about their inspiration for the songs they wrote and selected from some of their favorite song writers. The album is dedicated to the memory of long-time Bluegrass fan, John Westbrook who along with his wife Cherie could be seen in the front row of nearly every bluegrass concert in central New England. The album was also influenced by the passing of Valerie Crockett who along with her husband Walter were a major force in the music scene of Central Massachusetts. BVBB included one of Walter’s compositions on the album.
