It's all about the Apps. There is little doubt that Apple’s iPhone has revolutionized personal communications gadgets. It has introduced us to an “anything-anytime-anywhere” feeling . But at what price? Are devices like the iPhone “distracting brain mushers” that are making us dumber? Is the idea of privacy now a quaint concept of the past? Apple and the iPhone are also about extreme close corporate control, and the App store has been accused of imposing censorship, stifling innovation and fostering conformity.
