Yamanaka is a fireball of virtuosity at the piano, a star in Japan with a notable fan base in Italy as well. Chihiro dedicates a beautiful, original piece to the people who lost lives and homes to the 2011 tsunami; it struck the small city in which she was born. Then Jane Bunnett on flute and soprano sax plays dansons and more with Cuban pianist Hilario Duran. Candido (age 92) is a special guest on congas.
