Arts, sciences and humanities build healthier, more livable, vital communities. They are essential to a strong education system. They contribute enormously to our economy.
We’re in California for bassist Chris Lightcap and Bigmouth – two saxes, keys, Chris and drums. Lightcap’s Lost and Found New York is a musical guided tour from Arthur Avenue in the Bronx to the White Horse Tavern in Greenwich Village, the Cloisters over the Hudson to Coney Island on the ocean.
Lost and Found in New York by Chris Lightcap has been made possible with support from Chamber Music America’s New Jazz Works: Commissioning and Ensemble Development program, funded through the generosity of the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation.
