Pianist and composer Dan Tepfer performs solo concerts that are often completely improvised. He also has an ongoing duo project with legendary alto saxophonist Lee Konitz. Overseas he's been a lecturer at the Royal Academy of Music in London and the Seoul Institute of the Arts in South Korea. This week Tepfer talks about his album of improvisations based on Bach's Goldberg Variations and plays a few of his own compositions.
