Lovins believes that “going green”, designing cities for energy efficiency, lessening our carbon footprint and the new energy economy is where the new job opportunities will be found. The successful economies of the near future will be those that anticipate through design and invention the move beyond oil into renewable energy sources. Her compelling book, written with Boyd Cohen, is CLIMATE CAPITALISM: CAPITALISM IN THE AGE OF CLIMATE CHANGE.
