Inquiry: TRAINSCAPE: INSTALLATION ART FOR MODEL RAILROADS

All aboard! Tonight, Inquiry is joined by “Decordova Museum and Sculpture Park” curator NICK CAPASSO. Nick has organized the museum’s latest exhibition called TRAINSCAPE: INSTALLATION ART FOR MODEL RAILROADS. This exhibition has actual “O” scale locomotives chugging their way through twelve contemporary artists’ installations. Nick will explain how the museum keeps the artwork running on time and what “Dyna-chuff” is. Also in the studio are two of the artists from this dynamic show. RALPH HELMICK is a renowned public art sculptor. His piece has a train huffing and puffing through the words of a Wallace Stevens poem. ELLEN WETMORE is a multi-media artist.
