Sydney and Violet Schiff were an amazing couple. They lived in the 1920s in Britain. They were madly in love with each other and each was a connoisseur of the visual arts and of modernist writing. Their close friends included some of the most legendary writers of that era. Tune in tonight for a story of one of the most unique literary salons. We speak with teacher, editor, reporter and writer Stephen Klaidman about his brilliant new book Sydney and Violet: Their Life with T.S.Eliot, Proust, Joyce and the Excruciatingly Irascible Wyndam Lewis.
