“Elizabeth Bishop wrote love poems, and poems about lovemaking and one of the best poems ever written in English about the loss of love, but she had made her way through life as an orphan, a solitary.” (p.296). Tonight on Inquiry, we welcome Pulitzer Prize winning biographer MEGAN MARSHALL. She is the Charles Wesley Emerson College Professor at Emerson College. Her new book is a biography that is also, in part, an autobiography: ELIZABETH BISHOP: A MIRACLE FOR BREAKFAST.
