The author of The Boston Jazz Chronicles: Faces, Places and Nightlife 1937-1962, Richard Vacca, will be with Al Dean on The Sunday Jazz Matinee on July 8th. Richard is a Boston based technical writer, editor, amateur historian and regular presenter on the topic of Boston jazz and nightclubs. He spent 7 years researching and assembling these chronicles.
This will be an informative afternoon discussing the nightclubs and musicians of this time and we will be playing the music from the era from 1937-1962 from Dick's personal collection.
