Established by Aaron Richmond in 1938, the Series has evolved into New England's major presenting organization with over 100 performance and outreach activities annually.
Tonight on Inquiry we talk with photographer RUBY RAY. Her new book, which also contains a great CD, is titled FROM THE EDGE OF THE WORLD: CALIFORNIA PUNK 1977-81. This collection of photos documents the bands and people that made the punk scene in Los Angeles and San Francisco featuring photographs of bands like D.O.A.; the Mutants, X; and Devo. She has also written and produced a more extensive e-book on the subject titled PUNK PASSAGE: A TRAGICOMIC ROMP THRU THE HARDCORE AXIS OF THE SF/LA PUNK SCENE 1977-1981.
