The narwhal has captured people’s imaginations for hundreds of years. Found in the far north, they are a whale species very much connected to the Arctic ice. They also have that fantastic legendary eight-foot long tusk. What is the function of this amazingly modified tooth? Tune in and find out when Inquiry talks with writer and natural historian TODD McLEISH who traveled far north to where the narwhals live in order to write his new book NARWHALS: ARCTIC WHALES IN A MELTING WORLD.
